    What is TMD

TMD stands for temporomandibular joint disorder which is a complicated condition where the TMJ is not operating correctly. A qualified professional like Dr. Cutting can offer TMJ therapy and/or occlusal therapy to restore balance and eliminate stress in the masticatory system.

There are many reasons why a person suffering with TMD should seek TMJ Therapy. The first reason would be to eliminate pain. Other reasons would be to restore health to the oral system. TMJ disorders are often accompanied by other problems like teeth grinding which can lead to worn teeth and broken teeth. Teeth grinding also contributes to problems like tooth cavities and gum disease.

    • Headaches, neck pain and/or facial pain
